Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the services of Manzano Works, a locally owned and operated handyman and construction service provider in Albuquerque, NM, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern all services provided, including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs.

Services Provided

Manzano Works offers professional handyman services, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall repair, window and door services, furniture assembly, flooring, general repairs, seasonal maintenance, safety modifications, and trash/junk removal. All services are performed by skilled professionals with over 15 years of combined experience in specialty trades and business operations.

Pricing and Payment

  • Estimates: We provide fair and honest pricing with upfront estimates. Final costs may vary due to unforeseen complexities, with any changes communicated promptly.

  • Deposits: For certain projects, a 50% down deposit is required before work begins, as specified in your estimate. Deposits are non-refundable once work commences, except as noted in the Cancellation Policy.

  • Payment Terms: Final payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, credit cards, and electronic payments.

  • Late Payments: Overdue payments may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month, subject to New Mexico state regulations.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide clear access to the work area and ensure it is safe for our team.

  • Disclose any known hazards (e.g., asbestos, mold, or electrical issues) before work begins.

  • Obtain necessary permits if required by local regulations (Manzano Works can assist with guidance).

Liability and Warranties

  • Workmanship Warranty: We guarantee our work for 90 days from completion, covering defects in materials or labor. This does not cover damage due to misuse or normal wear and tear.

  • Limitation of Liability: Manzano Works is not liable for incidental or consequential damages beyond the scope of our services, to the extent permitted by law.

  • Insurance: We are fully licensed, insured, and bonded for your protection. Claims for property damage caused by our team must be reported within 48 hours.

Termination of Services

Manzano Works reserves the right to terminate services for non-payment, unsafe working conditions, or disrespectful behavior toward our staff. Customers may terminate services subject to the Cancellation Policy below.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bernalillo County, NM.
